Based on my positive experience with Cold River Glide I ordered this one. I like its clean scent and it's pretty strong smelling. Cheaper than the Glide soap and a lot harder so it's different. I wasn't sure what to expect but I like it. Lathers easy and my face felt great after shaving. Anyway, like I said it really smells good, crisp and sorta outdoorsy if that makes any sense. I wish they sold samples because I would try more of theses Select lines.
Sounds like you picked a winner! Reading a scent descriptions doesn't give the same data as actually trying out a product. Being a hard soap, or just harder is a good thing in my world. Means I paid for product, not water. I own a couple creams, but if there's an option for the same maker and scent in a puck that's what I go for. More shaves/ less bucks. If you can put together a group; purchase several agreed upon scents, divide them as needed, collect funds from participants so it's a break even project.
