Comparing two Gillette razors made in different countries

Not 100% sure, but on many tools with nickel plating, there are similar rings that were where the item was held with a wire loop when it was plated. This is why a lot of the tools with those indentations seem to have plate loss in them. For a lot of them, there was never plating in them in the first place.
