Wow, I hadn't heard about that. Boys, we're living in a golden age of shaving

 

I want one. A slant will be my next razor purchase. I have a Fasan plastic slant, I over paid and can't stand the thing.

 

I just had my 2nd shave with the 37C. I removed the Merkur blade (I never really cared for them) , and installed and properly aligned a new Feather blade.
Excellent results this time around. I only had one small weeper.
After a two pass shave, I'm pretty much BBS.
I really like the razor now. I'm glad I bought it.

 

Go BIG (Merkur 39c)..and don't look back....

 

I had all three of these at one time a few years ago and I couldn't agree more. Go big or go home! I only ended up keeping the R41.

Many do like using the slants—and for them they are the best way for them to shave. Others, though, can't really get into the slants and prefer a standard head.
I enjoy both—although I did wind up selling my Merkur slant in a den clearing episode.
If there price is right, I may snag another 'sledgehammer' down the road.

 

I'll give it a try I do 89l every day but when 2or3 days pull out 37c great smooth

 

He posted a photo of the top cap from the slant on his Facebook page a while back, so I believe it is going to be a 3 piece. Sounds like it's going to come in a fair bit more expensive than the Merkur slants, though.
