WOW! Only six weeks left in the year. Man, time is flyin'. Any way - another theme week is upon us. This one is CREAM WEEK, and starts up on Monday, the 21st. I know for many of you out there all you shave with is cream. But for a lot of us, self included, creams are only brought out once in a while, as we prefer much of the lathering ritual that comes along with a puck of soap. This is an opportunity to encourage soap users to give creams an honest to goodness try. (don't worry, we do have a SOAP week scheduled to try and convert convince cream users how great soaps are ) If you're new to creams and don't have any, a trip to a grocery store or health food store can offer up creams such as Kiss My Face. Bath & Body Works sells C.O. Bigelow, a rebranded Proraso, that gets great reviews. Let's have some fun!
I prefer the lathering ritual that comes along with shaving cream. Actually, there's no difference in ritual to me. Other than repetitive motion injuries, ya know?
yup... lots of tubes of cream have been sitting around neglected. It will be a fun week. I better lock up all my soaps though...
That's a thought.... I mean I have about as much gray as Clooney, except I'm not in my 50's, rich or famous haha....
This will give me a reason to break out the MEM and Lider!! I've been using up little bits of soap that I have had hanging around and wanting to use my creams...but wanting to get rid of the soap. Now I have a reason to tell myself "Today is a cream day".
I'm in. Have plenty of Cream Samples to go through. Must resist from reaching for the new soaps I just recently purchased!
The kick off to Cream Week AND it's Menthol Monday! Tom's of Maine in the lather bowl today. Great stuff. Glad I got a tube before they discontinued it.
7 different tubes of cream are out on the shelf and all soaps have been put away. Well, I did leave the razorrock container out, but that stuff is no more than a super soft cream anyway. It started out more firm, but I loaded a wet brush on it and it just went soupy.
Hmm, can my love affair with TSD's Pumpkin Delight soap go on hold for a week? Dunno ... I'll give it the old college try.
C.O. Bigelow made it's way onto my face and allowed the Vulfix 2234 to whip it up something nice on my face for a great Menthol Monday shave!
