Recently, I had the oportunity to try some Russian made creams, I am honestly surprised to know that there are so, so MANY! I have travelled on business to Russia quite a few times, and the only one I can say I remembered ever buying was a lovely mentholated cream called Tet-a-tet., which comes in a red tube with yellow writing on one side, and white writing on the other side. It is produced by Kalina Konzern of Yekaterinburg, Russia. There are several other creams from that same company as well such as: Everest Nord-ost Phyto Expert (Regular version and Sensitive Skin version) Here are pictures of them: There is another company called "OAO Svoboda", located in Moscow, which produces these creams: Comme il Faut Start Arbat Mil'niy Yabloneviy Tsvyet Here are pictures of the creams from this company: In addition, there is ANOTHER company in Russia called TIMEX Cosmetics, which produces several Breeze creams! Check these out!
Oh man those look so cool. I wonder if there are any Russian online vendors that would ship those to USA.
The other day, I was informed by an email, which nearly made me sick to my stomach, that I have a GIGANTIC box full of all these creams in transportation to me from Russia. The exact number is not known, but I am worried that it can be over 50 items, and I am very nervous. All I sent to this nice man were 3 soaps, and a couple of creams!
They are very hard to find outside Russia, except perhaps in some nearby countries, such as Ukraine, Belorus, Lithuania, Latvia, and Kazakhstan. I know, because I have already been informed.
Oh, in the last group of photos, we have: Mil'niy (Soapy) Krasnya Linya Monarkh Samurai Dali Hit There are other ones as well, which I confess, I have never heard of.
Hmmm no, not really. I must to say that there are creams which are not easy to find outside from their countries of origin, and only available in stores of European ownership, both in the US or Canada. These Russian creams are something unique. Very rarely, can they be found in North America.
What about Russia's neighbourhood? Jeff, what about Eastern block countries creams, like Bulgarian, Polish, Serbian? They are as hard to get as Russian ones. As for get some to try... I think some can be traded from crackstar, and I always open for some interesting trades. If there is a definite interest from more then one man, maybe to ask JoAnna to get some? I can send a set of different stuff to her so everyone can 'get and try'. You welcome!
Yes, these eastern block creams are also very difficult to find in North America. Very rarely have I seen any here in Montreal, and I have never seen any from Russia.
Yes, ask crackstar about that creams! I know he has almost every cream he posted pictures of! ;-) BTW, I'm interesting to know how many guys are interested to get some Russian stuff? 1? 2? Or more?
I definitely am... That probably deserves a thread of its own, I'm sure you will get more replies that way too
Well, if there will be more then 5 men interested, maybe I'd better ask JoAnna if I can send some for her store? I don't know if she as a vendor would be interested to have some Russian goods in stock. Infamous, and only a few reviews about...
