DDoD (Daily Dose of Decadence) May 7 - 13

It was. It was low 70 outside and calm. I sat out on the front porch area listening to the fountain gurgling, smoking a cigar and sipping whiskey. Needed to take a break.

 

Not the same fish but catfish are a way of live down south. People have catfish ponds in their back yards.

 

Supper Club tonight

Every cuppa months or so, 4 neighborhood couples get together for a themed pot luck.
Tonight is "Spanish Night"
Menu includes:

Paella
Marinated mushrooms
Roasted Spicy Almonds
Melon wrapped in Serrano Ham
Grapes wrapped in Blue Cheese and dipped in crushed Pistachios (Prolly has a name but I dont know what it is)
Spanish olives
Machego Cheese
Ibirica Cheese
Almond tart
Sangria and Sherry

Should be a decent evening
