My head agrees with you 100%, but my Asta-lovin, impassioned inner imp clings to the words of Vin Scully :p

Ta muchly for the great info & chart!

Ah, but moving the lamp post would make for even a more interesting scenario. ;)

Well, as one of my old math teachers once said, "Numbers never lie. But, with the right sample group you can make them say anything you want." :D

I think it's safe to assume this is a non partisan blade challenge..:D

I checked again, no French blades were harmed in the testing procedure! :bounce017:

That's a relief..you might have invoked the ire of a razor blade rights group like the S.P.C.R.B..

Meh, if the SPCRB hasn't gone after the multi-blade companies yet, Gary is probably pretty safe.

But is the S.P.C.R.B. safe from me? That is the more critical question! :D

What's the deal with Kai razor blades. I just got some (2 - 5 packs) and they don't appear in the challenge. Are they out of production? By the way really nice shave too.

That's good to hear. I have a 5-pack of Kai's that came in my sampler but I haven't used them yet. They don't seem to be very widely available and expensive where you can find them.

I could be wrong but I think they are surgical blades for use in hospitals. No markings or wax on them. I paid about $0.60 per blade in a quantity of 10. I think they might come in a much larger non-retail bulk pack (not 100). Like I said if anyone knows more about them, they shave really well.

I simply ran out of time to purchase and test Kai blades. At the time, I was moving to a synthetic brush testing regimen for Mantic's blog site and so the test ended at blade number 48. I had about 8 blades that were still available in my collection but at that point it was time to move on because there was enough data available to cover a majority of the usual suspects..
