Found this on another forum and has some pretty nice looking razor finishes. Has discount code good until the 22nd. FORUM10 is the code http://deltaechorazors.bigcartel.com/
There was a thread going over on another forum for cerakote razors. I was intrigued then. I've heard the coating is almost more slick than even the best platings, it's supposed to be at least as durable, and it's certainly a little less expensive than plating. Certainly opens up more options.
Evening Folks, Thought I would drop by and say hello since there was a discussion going on. First I want to thank everyone for their compliments on my work. I tend to be a perfectionist and hard on myself. I really do appreciate the feedback. 1. Gun Kote is an excellent finish for even swans. 2. It definitely can help a little ol' duck. RAD? BAD? I'm not even sure what it is to resist those any more. I just wanted to say hello and offer to answer any questions people might have. Cheers, DE
Welcome! Ur work looks wonderful! I foresee quite a bit of business in ur future. Can I ask what the lead time is and also I'm sure this question gets asked a lot but do u straighten safety bars on fatboys and slims as well. Im looking thru razors now thinking how good they all could look.....
I generally turn work around in under a week. That's my goal anyway. I always try and put out a projection when someone orders refinishing and is sending it in. Whatever I commit to, I will find a way to deliver. As for the safety bars, it depends on how mangled they are. If they just need a bit of a tweak, I can usually get them back where they go or pretty close when the razor is apart. Usually they aren't too bad and you can get them straight or to where you can't tell if they aren't perfect.
I was looking over your site and the great looking razors you have, very nice! I didn't see any reference to any type of guarantee on your work...do you have one? Thank you!
I believe in my work so, if there's ever an issue... If you do something to damage it, be honest.. I'll get it right for you. If something just goes wrong. Tell me, I'll get it right for you. It's a simple guarantee I suppose... Perhaps it's too old school, but to me aligns well with the concept of vintage razors and this community we're part of. Thoughts?
