I love the notched late 40's arisocrat. I see that there is a nice looking diplomat for sale somewhere and was wondering how the shave compares with the aristocrat.
Perhaps I am over generalizing but I might as well ask since I have no idea of the answer: I see five different types of classic razors: 1) Three piece close comb 2) Three piece open comb 3) Adjustable 4) TTO 5) Adjustable TTO Am I missing anything? I believe the Dplomat and Aristocrat both fall into catagory 4.
