    I think that black spot is just dirt. I meant to clean it, but with the holidays and people over I had put away my cleaning stuff. It should come out. Be sure to clean it properly. Normally it would have been clean, but it was part of a recent acquisition and I didn't get a chance.

    The Gillette New is in my top 5 favorite razors I like the short comb a little more then the long comb but they are both awesome, congrats!

    Sorry folks, been kinda out of it. Found Friday the wife might have an aggressive form of skin cancer. Waiting for the results. I did receive the razor but have not used it yet. I will update when I use it.

    Sorry it's taken so long to post a reply! I've had a busy week at work sending my student pilots on their first solo flights! I tried the Gillette Super speed with the Feather DE razor!
    I don't know if it's the the super speed or the Feather so far, but I do notice a more aggressive (in a good way) shave with this combination! I have recently been using my Gillette NEW short comb/Gillette blue combination as well as my SR on the weekends. It was a very nice shave. I really like the weight of the super speed! Thank you for this awesome PIF @Jorvaljr !! In the coming months I'm going to be doing a PIF as well as I have been the lucky recipient of a few! I'm just so thankful I found TSD and people who have helped me with so much information as I made my way away from the cartridge razors that weren't working for my face!
    Also, on another side note, I have good news! Over Christmas I went home and found out that since I started wetshaving my dad purchased a Van Der Hagen deluxe shaving kit with their twist to open DE razor! Looks like he's coming down the rabbit's hole with me!
