    Sorry :) . I think the Guiding Eye version is worth picking up, mine is nickel rather than chrome plated and seems better finished than my shaving blind version.

    This is an interesting question. The 1949 advertising makes reference to it being "newly adjusted", whatever that means, but they look exactly the same to me. No calipers on hand to verify though.
