Erik Redd Lizabeth, baby, I'm comin' to join ya.

Good finds, especially the Fatboy and Aristocrat. I don't know anything about straights, so can't comment on those. (Even though I typically don't let ignorance prevent myself from commenting :))

Everything looks good, except the straights. The frameback may be okay, but has a lot of hone wear, especially around the toe area and not a lot of metal left. The other straight is badly chipped and would have to have work that would make the small blade width even smaller.

it was a "lot". Buy one buy all. I was hoping to sell off the straight razor stuff to pay for the purchase, but I couldnt really look at it closely before buying (it was an estate auction online). After some mild cleaning the Fatboy only has slight wear, and operates perfectly, and the Aristocrat is very gently used, and near mint.

Nice score, though I agree with the previous comments about the straights! BTW, the black handled DE razor you called a 51 flare tip is most likely a black handled Super Speed from the 1970's.

Great score! Did they advertise having vintage razors or did you just happen to be at the right place at the right time?

    You are correct! 1976, thanks!

They are an online auction, so I could do a site wide search. I got to pick it up at the estate which was about 5 miles from my house!

It is a bit difficult to find a good DE razor in the urban indian environment now. Any idea how much it would be to get one shipped from the US? Or anywhere else.
