Didn't know they made a spray now! Will have to check on that.

    Overall, not bad. So far.

Due to my lack of photog, neither one quite catches the very fine grain, almost metal-flake look this paint has, as an unexpected bonus. It's not a solid glassy black, that's for sure, it's more interesting to look at. I'll give them several days to cure before shaving.

Speaking of which... a while back, I picked up a fat Tech handle which had been pretty much stripped to bare brass. I've been thinking of doing it up like the black handle on some of the early Gold Tech razors. Any suggestions for how to do it? Was the original just paint or something else?

What brand would you suggest? Rustoleum has one but I've never used this kind of primer.

I've wondered that myself. Just a straight enamel back then?

Rustoleum is good. Just spray in light coats, almost like a dust film each time. Coats will dry quicker that way and don't get too close, about 10-12 inches away until covered.

Will do, thanks. Looks like WM carries it. If not, will check an auto parts store.

If no rustoleum there are other good etching primers like krylon among others.

I repainted a black beauty handle with the black epoxy but I used a small fine brush. Spray some in a dish paint on a coat with the brush let dry for 10 min. Apply 2nd coat came out beautiful like new. Takes a couple of days to fully dry. It's great paint.
