Weepers are fairly standard with me by the third shave no matter what blade I use. Doesn't matter how good my technique is, how good my prep is, and so forth - every blade that I've ever used is pretty run down by the third shave thanks to my piano wire hair. Cheap blades might give me one or two decent shaves, but the best blades still max out at only 3 or 4 shaves for me. The first shave with Feathers is worth it to me though. I see people saying this all of the time but for me, the sharper the blade, the safer it is. Duller blades tend to get caught on my hair and that's when the nicks and weepers start.
In the objective sharpness tests done at refinedshave dot com only three blades of 45 tested are less sharp after a single use, Feather, Shark, and Treet Black. Sent from my Nexus 5X using Tapatalk
