Soap Commander products are all great, Purpose is my favorite. Darren and Carrie are the nicest people I have ever dealt with, shipping is very timely and always a thank you.
I know this is an old thread, but instead of creating one regarding the same thing - I figured I should just add on to this one. I'm about to have my first shave with Soap Commander as well. I picked up their Integrity as most fragrances cause a reaction on my face. The ingredients look fantastic and the customer service I received was top notch. I will report in later tonight after my premier shave with this soap. I've heard nothing but wonderful things and can't wait to try it out for myself.
First shave was a resounding success! This soap lathers like an absolute beast. I loaded my brush for about a solid 60 seconds and proceeded to face lather. Excellent slickness, cushion, and glide. Wow, I'm sort of blown away right now with how well this shave went. Soap Commander definitely is deserving of all the praise it gets for sure.
Have never tried this, so it's nice to read these reviews. I am convinced & once I am back into buying mode, Soap Commander will be on my list or 3 or 4 new soaps I want to try.
I especially love that it is vegan. Not because I care one way or the other, but I love when people who are convinced that a soap has to have tallow to be top tier, use this for the first time and are so blown away by it's performance. The scents are spectacular, and a tub of it lasts forever. I love Soap Commander and will always have it in my den as long as I am able.
If you see my SOTD shots, you'll see Soap Commander regularly featured. I have a variety in five or six of the generously-portioned soap tubs all with matching aftershave balms. Top performance and great fragrances. Top-notch owners Darren & Carrie are sweet people who produce a top-shelf shaving product. Between SC, Route 66 and Crowne & Crane (as well as others), I'm spoiled by the choice of quality shave soaps and balms available to us today!
It is almost hard to believe the options we have now, compared to even a few years ago. We are also pretty spoiled by the comparatively low prices we have to pay for the level of performance we are getting.
I have the passion balm. It's the only thing I have of theirs. I like the performance and how if makes my face feel. Nice amount of menthol to it. Just not super crazy about the scent. I've Been thinking about trading it off. I've got to the point that if I just don't 100 % love something I'll try to move it along to try something else.i would def use more of thier products though.
Big fan of Soap Commander here. Great soaps, not to mention its American made, American owned, veteran owned and a family run business.
Had my second shave with Soap Commander tonight. It was even better than the first! Got my soap-to-water ratio zeroed in perfectly this time and I produced and amazingly slick and protective soap - exploded with lather. A wonderful soap!
Up until recently...the only SC scent I had was "Confidence" (soap and balm)...and it really is a great product. I guess it's been a couple weeks now?...but I was able to get in on purchasing the three new scents... "Optimism"...Pear, plum and Bergamot "Renewal"...Floral fougere "Wisdom"...Lavender and peppermint I usually try to stick to my soap rotation so I'll be trying out "Optimism" for the first time tomorrow. It smells wonderful...almost good enough to eat, lol.
Renewal to me smells like fresh washed linen. But that being said, my wife may use fougere scented laundry soap. Just sayin', it may be my least favorite, and i like it.
That "Optimism" scent has peaked my interest. Sounds like something I'd really like. I might have to check that out next.
I have the Motivation; cucumber and bamboo. Sadly it's disconntinued . I use this sparingly but agree with your evaluations.
