That’s awesome I went and noticed that some have a many of his brushes. I cannot wait to get all my new shaving stuff in to start this next page of shaving. Once I get samples and stuff ordered I believe I will be all set. It’s just a matter of the waiting game.
While you learn: 1 razor 1 brand of blades 1 soap 1 brush Changing up while learning will slow your ability to spot issues. I've seen so many newbies sentence themselves to an expensive and never ending rotation of mediocre results because they fail to truly master even a single setup.
So far I have 1 razor df91 defitch, blades astra sp, and a jayaruh brush. All ordered and hopefully will have soon.
I've tried it. It's OK. I'm a Stirling fanboy. Their samples are big enough to shave with for a couple weeks and small enough to quit using if you don't like the scent. I've not tried any I don't like the smell of except Eskimo Tuxedo. Their splashes are great, too. So is the balm. I usually get all 3. Stirling is good stuff.
It is fine. No more, no less. I think there are lots of better options out there, and easier ones to start with. Even five years ago, it was probably a better option, but there are just so many, much better soaps to choose from. My personal recommendation would be to save the dollars.
I agree with the others. Conk is okay but so many others are better. Get some Stirling samples. They'll give you 15-20 shaves each. Enjoy the variety and quality. There are many others, too. Soap Commander is exceptional as well. Their samples are a great way to go.
I'm Stirling exclusive. I may branch out at some point. I doubt it will be any time soon. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
As I said in another post it just works. And it does so at a high level and a price point hard to beat. Plus they have a lot of good scents with aftershave/lotion/bath soaps to compliment the shave soap. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
