Hi gents, I'm selling a couple of Simpson's brushes that just don't get any use whatsoever in my den. As with all my Simpson's brushes, I have the engravings professionally filled with black ink, in my opinion the brushes look much better this way - Simpson's does it in their Silvertip and Manchurian brushes for a reason. First of, an Emperor 3 in Super Badger. $105 Before: After: Important note: there is a hairpin crack on the top part of the handle, I have no idea how it happened as I am extremely careful with all my brushes. I believe it may have come that way from the reseller, but I only noticed after a couple of uses. Still, IMO in no way does it affect the stability of the handle, but I believe it is reflected in the asking price.
