There's a thread over on B&B where someone spoke to an AoS manager in the Boston area. Supposedly, they are being made at a factory in Ohio.
It is interesting to speculate about this -- what will the razor be made of? What kind of markings (AOS, presumably)? How much??
Everything I've seen quoted by AoS employees on this subject so far, has been in opposition to what other AoS employees had said previously - It would seem that not two of them has been given the same info
I wonder if this will be AoS exclusive or available to the rest of us as well? Looks pretty nice. And I too wonder about the materials
I went to the AOS website and didn't see it. I was about to sign up for their newsletter and special promotions, but it wants my address and date of birth. TMI !
The only way I can see it is if Gillette takes over an existing factory thats producing razors and modifies the process and or materials. This way they can undercut the other manufacturers. I would have a limited edition numbered amount to test the waters

They are limited edition and numbered from speaking to a AOS MANAGER who was and the meeting for employees awhile back said.
