Done. Going back to Braun electrics. Gillette is gonna ruin traditional wet shaving. ✌️
Wha? The Gillette we admire hasn't existed for decades.
I believe the vaping attachment is a rumored future expansion pack on their next razor.
Right - runs off of the same battery as the vibrating function.
I will be the one to go out on a limb here, but I think its either going to be a remake of the slim or SS....I remember before the tech came out I was told (could be false) that they were planing/hoping to to remake 4 of the vintage DE's...the tech was 1st, then I feel like it was the slim/SS and last being the FB...Im just guessing though and I cant back that up with anything solid.
And it's rechargeable because that would be environmentally friendly
They released a tech?

Check the date on the OP and it was March 2016. It's now April 2017. It's been all talk and no Tech. I will believe it when/if I see it. And furthermore there are dozens of 3 piece DE razors on the market. A reissue of a Tech (if that is the "surprise") won't make much of a splash. Even if it was a Gillette.
Gillette will make a very strong come back mark my words! Probably will have another lawnmower alike cartridge
So, manual rotary blades driven by reduction gears?
Probably but 4 blades like in the pic will be peanuts, at least 8 blades. One pass only = whiskers will be gone, Disclaimer: Gillette will not be responsible for any dislocated jaws.
If it's done right, it'll even pull out those annoying nose and ear hairs!
Gilette building hype? Let me guess: "Gilette Pro Fusion Evolution".
I got the same e-mail a day or so ago.
I'm looking forward to the modern DE Gillette if it does exist. They are a year behind schedule from when the rumor started, if it is just a fat handle Tech it shouldn't be that hard to get to market.
its gonna be a DE that cant accept anything but gillette unobtanium blades.

Now that would be awesome. A new Zamak Tech, sold only at AOS at an astronomical price, and only accepts proprietary blades manufactured by Gillette.
I think someone already beat you to it:
Yes, this is a real thing:
