Hi everyone, I just got a Gillette Super Speed blue tip, C-2 code, from a friend. After I soaked and cleaned it in warm soapy water, then used 70% isopropyl alcohol, I noticed some spots/markings at the end of the handle, see pic below. Anyone know what the spots are and how to remove them? Would Flitz work? Thanks -Chris
I agree, but take it slow and gentle till your absolutely sure it's on the plating and now the plating itself flaking....The razor itself looks to be in excellent condition, you did a real nice clean up on it....
I think the handle of the blue tip super speed are aluminum? Thanks for the replies will try suggestions
Hi everyone. Thanks for all your input. I only had Flitz around the house. I applied it and used a microfibre cloth to polish. After two passes, here is the result: I have to do a some more touch up, to get it just right, but most of the spots are gone.
