Got my beautiful wife a matching belt and bag for Valentines Day. She should have that Kirby vacuum going in no time now.

I got her a Kirby vacuum and she belted me.

That's hilarious and worth at least three "likes" but the system only lets me give you one.

 

We rarely do gifts for Valentines Day but we did go out for a very nice dinner.

 

Bought my wife a bowling ball with my initials. (She doesn't bowl.)

Well no gifts for the wife. But I'm going to cook her dinner. I just got off work, And I'm heading to the market for steaks , Veggies for salad, mushrooms and green beans to sauté , I'll be baking a cake as well. I have to hurry.

 

Haven't celebrated Valentines Day in over 30 years. Becky and I decided a long time ago that if we need a special day to tell each other we love each other, we've got problems. We will, however , celebrated our 35th anniversary in April.

 

We keep it pretty simple these days. We had lunch at a nice restaurant and shared a glass of wine this evening. Now I am helping our youngest of four and only high schooler with his homework. Being a dad is fantastic.

I celebrated Valentine's Day yesterday with Shelby. I took her to Kay's and picked out a bracelet she had been wanting. Pink sapphire and opal.

I heard ya Steve....and it does make perfect sense on paper......but any excuse to show your appreciation also looks good on paper.....hmmm....And then, Herm's post looks very good on paper.....hmm...But I also remember a man far wisier than I once said, "It's your holiday, have it you way..."
