Just used the old 1912 single edge with a Gem blade that I got for peanuts off Ebay for the first time and have to say it was one of the closest and smoothest shaves I have had. First time I have tried a single edge razor and will definitely be adding it to the rotation. Mike
The shaves only get better, Mike. Ive tried to convince some of my friends to try DE shaving but they always say "ill cut myself bad". Its funny that fear will be the obstacle that keeps them from having the best shaves of their lives. Atleast you tried it.
