From To This was a Vintage Restore, we had to make a decision on this because of the HEAVY hone wear.. It could have been a complete Re-Grind or keep the Heavy steel intact and hone with tape... Myself I have always thought of a Re-grind as a last resort since once that beautiful Sheffield steel is gone it is gone forever @Norcalnewb decided the same and we ended up with a nice sweet Coticule edge after it was all said and done The Horn scales were soaked in Neatsfoot oil for a few days then polished back up, this of course created another set of issues I had to file away at the "wedge" since the conditioning swelled the old horn enough to make it hit the point of the razor Working through the issues is part of the fun hehehe Thanks for looking.. ps: Thanks to James for the before pic since I am an idiot when it comes to remembering to take them
