Greetings fellow wet shavers! I'm a 24 year old Dairy Farmer from western Canada. I've lurked the forms for a little while before creating an account but I'm here now! I've been a wet shaver for about 4 months now and all I can say is I should have been doing it this way from the beginning! I used to shave with 4/5 blade cartridge razors and have terrible razor burn on my neck as well as lots of irritation all over. I have sensitive skin as well as dry skin so that didn't help at all. After my first shave with my 1st safety razor (Edwin Jagger DE89) I was literally hooked! Super smooth close shave, no irritation or razor burn. I don't have the biggest collection of supplies yet but I am working on it! I look forward to learning more and contributing to the form! Dalton **My collection** Parker 24C(by itself in the small storage box), Edwin Jagger Knurled Handle(Hidden under a cloth and under the samples on the left side of the larger storage box), D.R. Harris Arlington Shaving soap, Kent of Inglewood Synthetic fibre brush, 100 Derby Extra blades, 20 Feather Blades, a couple samples of aftershave and cologne. Both storage boxes are handmade out of Birch plywood with brass hinges and latches. Inside the small box I created indents with pieces of cardboard for everything to sit nicely and then glued fabric overtop.
High their, @Dver42 . Check out Fellowship of Cold Water Shavers . It will do wonders for eliminating irritation.
