Just stopping by as a newer member (been reading for awhile but have just started posting) to say hello. Like many others I have went through cartridges, electrics and waffled between those for a very long time. I have been DE shaving for about two months and am finally starting to make progress and feel like I can do this consistently. Thank you everyone for all of the helpful information and guidance that I have found here.
Welcome to the Den. We know you'll fit right in. So grab yourself a comfy chair, and give our threads a spin! Burma Shave
Like many others I started this to save money, but I think you know the rest of the story. Currently I own the following razors with the slim being my favorite. These are typically loaded with either an Astra SP or a Personna Lab Blue. Slim Adjustable (usually set on 6) Flair Tip Super Speed Fat Handle Tech 70's Aluminum Tech For brushes I have the following... so far. Burma Shave (it's kind of OK) Tweezerman Badger (tried to "upgrade" to this but found I wasted my money. I don't care for it) Omega Pro Boar (love it and it's my daily driver) Now this is where my wife really starts rolling her eyes. Soaps, Creams and Aftershaves. Dreadnought C.O Bigelow Vanderhagen Luxury Porasso Red Sandalwood tub Stirling Ozark Mountain Stirling Bay Rum Stirling Tuscany Stirling Clubman Stirling Barbershop Stirling Sharp Dressed Man .... I have determined I am a Stirling fan if you haven't noticed. Pinuad Clubman Brut Old Spice British Sterling Gillette Sensitive Balm Nivea Sensitive Balm And now that I have typed that all out and realized that is only two months worth..... How do we contact the forum therapist?
You're gonna fit right in ! Funny thing is that I haven't seen any therapists around here... However, there are many enablers
2 months in & already have quite the collection of accessories - seems like you're going to fit right in!
For what it's worth I read the rules and noticed that which is why I did not post there. It's all good.
