After tiring of spending $$$ and contributing to the world's ever increasing waste issue, I've excitedly decided to make the switch to DE safety razor shaving. I've been spending the past few weeks researching technique and products, and finally made a few purchases, which will be arriving soon. I plan on fully reviewing them as well, for those interested. Being a lady, I found there was a bit of a gap, when it came to a woman's perspective on this subject. Hopefully I can learn a lot, and offer some of my own experiences to men and women along the way! Nice to meet you all!
to TSD @Smooth Operator I hope you enjoy it here. Looking forward to hearing your take on "traditional shaving" equipment and technique.
@Smooth Operator, glad you decided to join us at TSD. What razor are you going to use? I sent this to my daughter in-law.
Welcome! This is a great group always willing to help. They can be enablers so be careful but they truely are a great group! I started a few months ago and have really enjoyed the journey. My wife followed me about a month or two after I made the switch. If you end up looking for variety of razors check out a local thrift shop as vintage Gillettes really are great razors. Enjoy the journey! Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
Welcome aboard!! We have the friendliest bunch of people here who really know shaving and aren't afraid to share! Some of the ladies I'm sure will introduce themselves but don't be shy about asking questions. Glad to have you along!
