Help me select a new blade

I have a ball end old type, 2 actually, and my Personnas are just not "cutting" it. So to speak.

If anyone is using other blades besides, Derby, Wilkinson Sword White, Crystal. Let me know. I may actually consider a feather for this one.

Are you refering to a Gillette Tech?
I'm using Derbys in mine (not ball end or TTO) and they are doing the job (just). I am also considering trying feathers in this mild but rather nice razor.

 

I have found the Green packs Gillette 7 o'clocks to be the best blades for me

 

Try one of the many sampler packs and find what works for you.

Samplers are nice but I want real world experience with old types, not techs. The ball end techs have a smaller ball than the old style.

I have a gold gall end tech and I use Derby's.

Aren't they green instead of gold and if they are green does that mean they are copper?

To Wedge: On the rare occassions I use a Tech, I always use a Feather because they are such mild razors.
