Help with two razors!

    I can't make it the year from the photos, I could see its a 4th quarter, but the letter on the opposite side of the little four tells the year. ( I'm not great with links, but you can Google" Gillette date codes" just as easy).
    should be been like h-m, like 61-67( if memory serves).
    the other one looks like an aluminum handled tech.
    Mr razor is a good resource for researching Gillette.
    nice find btw, the slim is the bomb for new and experienced wetshavers alike.

    Thanks Very Much!!! Mine says I 4 so is that 1963 oct-dec!?

    Now be aware that Tech could have been made from 1963 - 1976/9 because that was a very long running model. The one I showed was a sample made in 1963 based on the blade and wrapper from Achim's collection.

    This is a classic mismatch. This is a English Tech in the wrong box.

    The box is in red or reddish purple which usually denotes British make, but those were not used for Techs.

    These were usually used on more expensive razors. An example is seen below.
