Hello. New here, not completely new to wet shaving. I have been at it for over a year now. I have amassed a five to six year supply of soaps and creams, Fourteen Staights in rotation and five safety razors. Monday through Saturday I use a straight razor, Sunday is for a Double edge (I am horrible with all five of them) I regret not starting with a straight or double edge sooner but hopefully still have a lot of years to perfect my shave.
Welcome to The Den. That's a nice collection you have there. It took me over 30 years to work up the nerve to try a DE. I don't think I'll be moving on to straights any time soon, although the shavettes look kinda cool.
to TSD "ARGH" Nice razor collection you have there! Patience and persistence are required for shaving with a straight razor. Since I have neither I don't use straights, just collect them, I'm sure as your technique and stropping ability improves your shaves will get better. Which DE is your favorite?
