I have around 20 soaps, 5 creams and 2 sticks. Trying to stop buying but so many new great sounding soaps keep comming out. I think I suffer from SAD.
That's my problem too, John :-(. Just when I think I have it made, someone describes ANOTHER soap/aftershave. Watch for me to be saying(as I have before), "And now ANOTHER company I need to research"!!. But I'm on NB 18, so that won't resume until they drop the ball in Times Square to begin 2019 .
I am right with you Paul, so far I've only bought 1 soap in 2018 but I keep getting tempted with these new donkey milk and Duck tallow soaps that are comming to market. They sound so good - but I'm trying to hang tough
I have 7 hard soaps. They are some of the best Hard Puck soaps I have ever used. I have 2 creams and 4 Croaps also. 2 of - Tabac 3 of -Arko stick-it gets better as it ages IMO 1 of - Haslinger Schafinilch 1 of- Razorock blue barber stick
Count me in as having SAD. I have only been in this hobby since Feb '17. Then again, I always feel I could use a few more, especially ones from Declaration Grooming,Grooming Dept, Wholly Kaw, PannaCrema (Rossa), SV, B&M, Stirling, MdC, ABC, Mike's Naturals, Sudy Soapary and Midnight and Two. So far, everything I have tried, except campfire, has been great. Love having over 2 months of new scents each day.
Great selection - I'm jealous (just kidding - my wife would throw me out). I highly recommend Mike's Naturals and Sudsy Soapery (also a big fan of B & M and Stirling that you have great selections of). I too would love to try Declaration Grooming,Grooming Dept. and Wholly Kaw Thank you for posting.
Right now I just have my Proraso Green Shave Soap Waiting to get my Edwin Jagger bowl so I can have a deep enough bowl to buy some hard soaps Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Not seeing ant Cold River Soap Works Glide series on that list? Something you need to rectify right away!
Just purchased some sample size Stirling Shave Soaps. Ordered a Tea Tree, Orange Chill and Glacial Lemon Chill. Can’t wait to try them out when they arrive. These will be my first true Shave soaps as all I’ve used is Proraso. I’m excited Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I haven't tried those 3, although Glacial Lemon Chill is on my 2019 "shopping list"(I'm doing NB18). I do currently have Glacial Wintergreen-big help in the summertime, that's for sure.
I have an even dozen tubs of Stirling upstairs where I usually shave. The hoard however stays in the cool basement which is soon to become the shave den. I have well over a dozen more Stirling soaps there, half a dozen MWF, same with Tabac, a dozen sticks of Arko and a kilo of Cella. Also a few tins of WSP and B&M too. The world may collapse, but I be clean shaven as it happens!
Some are missing. My current inventory is 5 pucks. Saponificio Varesino Colonia Saponificio Varesino Felce Aromatica Saponificio Varesino Dolomiti MWF Tabac The MWF and Tabac have taken a back seat to the Saponificio Varesino soaps and get very little use. For me, the SV soaps are superior in latherability, quality of lather, and comfort.
