Steve is 100% correct, your face will tell you. I know when great questions like this get asked it's for a good cause, and it may appear that you will not be able to get your question answered in a way that will be beneficial to you. Me or anyone else saying you'll get x amount of shaves per blade is not really helpful. Again like Steve wrote, your face will tell you, much like if you use a soap that doesn't agree with you, your face will surely tell you. Kerry
When did you last try? This might be a similar case to Derby. Probably better than when you were new.
I'm new to wet shaving, but I don't understand flipping the blade over. If a knife is dull and I turn it around it still won't cut through the rope that the evil villain used to tie me to a chair... what would flipping the blade over do? I may very well be wrong, but it is the same edge? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
I take my blade out after every shave and hand strop both edges, both sides. The blade is flipped going into the next razor up in the rotation. Does it really do anything? In my mind it does. Figure can't hurt, might help. It's your shave. Enjoy it your way.
Astra SP's are my main go to blade. I flip it after every shave and keep using it until it starts to tug. I can easily go weeks on a blade. I sometimes change it out because it's been so long since I put in a new blade that I can't remember how long it's been in there.
