33.......(11) Razor: Eversharp Hydro Magic Blade: Chick (11) Brush: Semogue 620 Soap: Tabac Post: Cold water, Thayer's, & Nivea Balm AS: MD Barber Topaz Elite Cologne: Verdon Well...I found the limit for me and the China Schick blade. It is 10. This shave still wasn't tuggy but can feel it is headed for bad shaves ahead. So I am not pushing my luck. I am very happy with 10 great and comfortable shaves.
36........... I found one thing out from doing this thread. Tabac is now and always my go to number one soap.
It's a good choice for a number one soap. It's still number two with me at the moment. MWF rules the den here but that could change.
I like the fat a lot. I've used it a few times it would be a number two for me. I find the Tabac more reliable with great lather. I have to pay more attention when make lather with the fat. I might just need more time with it.
I have many many soaps and creams that I love, but if I had to choose one -- Tabac, without a doubt. Just like Redrock, I love Mitchell's Wool Fat a lot too, and I have a shaving stick I made using a cleaned, empty push-up deodorant tube, and a 50% blend of Tabac/MWF grated soap flakes pressed into the cylinder. It's a joy to use. Anyway, I've really enjoyed this thread and I am keenly interested in the verdict. Also, I admire the effort of the OP. Thanks to Weeper Warrior for doing this.
37..... From the looks of it, I think I have double what I already used. So a little over a hundred. But that's just a guess.
