Yes, that's right. She's gone for the week and I got stuck with the cooking. He's getting tuna casserole for the next three days, and furthermore he can dust the bust of Shakespeare himself.

 

It's called a ship. Boats are carried on ships. Silly flightless bird.

My girls (wife and daughter) just left for a couple of days, they're going to visit a family friend in Santa Rosa.
It's just me and my two cats...

 

My wife's in Baltimore at a conference, so it's me,the dog and...my in-laws(87&94). Be happy it's your cats.

Well, I'm officially away from DSLRs. Just picked up the Olympus em10 mark ii. The store raised the price $70 since the last time I was there...But it was still the cheapest place to pick one up. :/

Can't wait to get it set up and try it out!

Hey guys! So, I quit my job at the Australian themed steakhouse. It was just for the best. I have an interview Monday for a maintenance job with the school district! Wish me luck, it's a foot in the door I've wanted for a very long time.

The hubby & I went to the NY Auto Show today. I am researching gas electric hybrid cars and got a lot of useful info. (My car is still roadworthy, but it's 10 years old, so it's time to start thinking about the next one.). It's also fun to see what's new & what's old, as there was a vintage car exhibit.

Great day, but I'm beat.

 

One of these days I'm going to get to the Javits Center for that.

 

It's well worth it if you are doing some product research or if you just like cars.

 

I'm hanging out in Drumheller with my family, overnight. It is my middle girl's birthday today, she is 7. We went to the Royal Tyrell Museum, and I got some decent shots in. Enjoy!

Today makes one year of (almost daily) self-taught Dutch. (Or: Vandaag is een jaar nederlands leren.) @macaronus @Eeyore

I have not done a lot of speaking or writing (kinda my fault there), but my reading comprehension is decent, so I'm told. My guess is somewhere in the upper Middle School or maybe lower High School range depending on if we're measuring vocabulary or grammar. Creation on my part still needs A LOT of practice (word order still trips me up).
