Let me start by saying that I take a bath once a week whether I need one or not. Therefore, deodorants are important to me and I'm pretty picky about which ones I use. Some burn my skin, some smell funky, but that may be because I found them on the locker room floor. So, I always keep my eyes open for a new venture in deodorants and I ran across one the other day while looking for shaving soaps. Petal Pusher and HTGAM have teamed up to create a unique type of deodorant. This deodorant doesn't look, smell, perform or feel like your ordinary drug store variety. To understand that, here's the ingredients list: The hook here is the "Living Enzymes". Apparently, "Living Enzymes" is to BO bacteria what Penicillin is to gonorrhea. Couple that with Activated Charcoal and baking soda and you have some serious odor killing machine (watch out France). The makers of the deodorant stick go on to say that the rest of the goodies are to condition and treat your skin. In short, I love this stuff. I bought the Cavendish scent (so now my pits smell like my grandfather's old lazyboy recliner) and couldn't be happier. I catch myself periodically raising an arm to get a quick whiff of the sweet smelling stuff. It doesn't look like an ordinary deodorant. I looks like shea butter in a deodorant stick and to feel it with your fingers, it's like the consistency of shea butter. It goes on a little "tuggy" because it's a solid but I just wet my pits with a little water and then apply it and it goes on smooth. It currently comes in Cavendish, Sandalwood, Steam River Rum, Gondolier and Neroli scents. You can buy direct HERE or THERE. This is awesome stuff and I intend to use it regularly now. Who knows? Maybe I can become a monthly bather.
Great review. I like the idea of different scents. Any antiperspirant qualities to it? I hate sweaty pits.
There are some antiperspirant aspects to it, but I don't think it will replace your regular antiperspirant. I never could get the hang of antiperspirant because of the white chalky pits so I settled on not smelling bad. LOL!
Thanks Cyanide! I was hoping you'd get good results. I'll have to pick some up. Tho, I do see a new CT in your future... "Sniffs his own pits" or "Lazyboy Scented Armpit Sniffer."
Have this stuff and I agree 100%. Best deodorant I've used. Love getting whiffs of the cavendish throughout my work day.
You said you were waiting on the smaller size of coconut to become available didn't you? Hope you like it.
I did say that. <sigh> If it performs and smells like the other one I have (cavandish), I'm sure I'll love it.
