Been a little while, been busy because of work, but I have not lost my enjoyment of saving... So lets catch up: First I got a razor back from restored razors in England. The before pic, it was not in the greatest of shape... Look at it shine: the combs are straight and it shaves as if it was purchased yesterday. I know some will say gold is too soft a metal to use, but I wanted it to be restored to its original finish, I guess I am just a sentimental old man. (The razor is first plated in nickel then in gold...in case anyone wanted to know). I have been trying new blades out from around the world. I am currently on Egypt. All are made by Lords in Alexandria or Port Said. I have uses so far Rainbow...extremely mild, Crown, Big Ben Reds, and Lord Platinum. Still have Asco and Big Ben Blues to try. I will do a review on them in the near future. I have some Russian blades coming (form the Russian Federation) ...not Astra, but some others. Also I have tried Wm. Neumann 1907 Signature, I think I have found a new favorite from Wm,N. I think the younger shavers may enjoy this scent as well as older. Will do a reviews also in the near future. See ya all around soon....be prepared for another famous Sarge PIF......
