I have been looking for a soap that has a similar scent profile to xXx. Just to have a verity and expand my soap collection. I picked up a tin of Stirling Piacenza and I am very happy.

My top 3 soap, at least as of today are:
    xXx
    Tabac
    Piacenza

I've only tried a little over a dozen soaps so far but I agree xXx is in the the top 3 for me it's
    Razorock xxx
    Caties bubbles Irish Coffee
Proraso red / blades grim smolder seriously too close to call on that last one

Hmm I have XXX and it's ok. The scent throws me off a little I can't put my finger on it. But it's not in my any thing list lol. I don't get the same lather from it as I do the other razorock soaps. It tends to be lighter and fluffier and not as slick. The other 2 razorock soaps I have are thicker and slicker lathers every time . It's funny the other 2 soaps have a heavier scent profile and that matches the lather I get. The xxx is a light scent and that's the lather I get.

See where your list is afterwards.

Then when you're done with those, get yourself some Cold River Soap Works SELECT. You'll never look back!

Joking @Kokak I actually do remember having only three soaps. It was just so long ago and probably only lasted for a day or two...

I am not trying to discredit his current favorites. I'm sure they are his top 3...now. What I am trying to do is give advice from someone who has tried literally hundreds of soaps (me). The list I rendered is solid, and I have no doubt it would drastically change his top 3.

Isn't sharing information and expertise a large part of what this forum is about?

I've got the Razorock XXX. I like it. I second the motion about Catie's Bubbles. I've got "Barnegat Bay" and "Tonsorial Parlour". Both smell really good to me.

Tell me again? How many soaps have you tried? I know it is LITERALLY something, I remember it has been at great personal expense..... I just forget how many there were. Sorry for being dense, I know you have told us literally hundreds of times.

Sharing experience is definitely part of a forum. Constantly discrediting a person's likes or favorites because you think you know better is just being rude.

Sorry for the rant, I've just seen it literally hundreds of times.

So, as can be expected... with new additions to my soap shelf, I have a new top 3. The winners are, in no particular order.

    Stirling Piacenza
    RazoRock Single X
    Tabac

LOL... looking at this after I posted, I see only 1 soap has changed. I really enjoy all the soaps I have and rotating between them. I just find myself having to convince myself to try something else, every time I reach for my Lather Bowl.
