I tried a Gem today and I ..

    Really liked it. It was a G-Bar I think.

    Shaved pretty good for the first try and the angle on the face just felt right to me, kinda natural.

    The heavier blade also makes a different sound than a DE blade, more business like. The witch hazel told me I was a little rough, but nothing outlandish for the first time using one.

    I could get used to it.:cool:

    Congrats! I haven't used a G-Bar myself but I do enjoy a GEM shave.

    VIVA LE REVOLUTION.... Keep on keeping on... just as an aside if you thing the g bar shaves good.and it does.. the 1912, 1914 and 1924's gems and ever ready s are even better,...
