I have the chance to try this razor out but not sure what blade should be used in it. I know razors/blades are a personal thing but there has to be some kind of census on what combo generally will work with what razor so I would appreciate it if anyone can chime in. I have Astra SP's, SuperMax Titaniums, GSB's, PoliSilver's, Gillette SP/black's and I think Rapira Platinum Lux available thru a sample pack or on the way! The bold ones are on the way! Thx.
When in doubt, use Astra SP. So let it be written, so let it be done! No other post after this one shall count.
I have used Astra SP's in a 38C HD and 34 HD but just trying to test the waters for a "better" blade especially in a more aggressive razor! That is my thought anyway!
I have my favorite blade in my daily razor. When testing a new razor this is always my first stop. The reason being is that I at least have a baseline before adding other variables. HTH

FUQ! That is outstanding! Maybe there should be a new rule asking members to keep FUQing to a minimum. Actually, #9 is pretty good as well.
I dont think of this as a FUG, if that is what you are saying! I know from the short time on DE forums that many folks have tried and own numerous razors so there must be some out there that has the razor I am asking about, as well as other common razors that use a particular blade in them cause it works well together. That would at least be a starting point to someone that has a new/different razor that doesnt want to buy another huge sampler pack and take six months to test all the blades!

I guess another questions would be "Can I clean and sterilize used razors using Isopropyl Alcohol?". Like this iKon? Will it damage stainless steel or ones the the Merkur's?
Most guys use hot water with a bit of Dawn dish soap or Scrubbing Bubbles. I prefer using something mild like dish soap, I hate the smell of Scrubbing Bubbles so I never use it.
Not sure what you mean here! I have an used razor or two coming but I would like to clean/sterilize them before use!! One is all stainless so worried abot alcohol.
