Hello All, I'm looking for what you perceive to be the best smelling soap that fits a particular scent profile. I'm looking for a mix of: Leather Pipe Tobacco Smoke Grassy/Earthy I'm picturing an old hunting cabin in the middle of the woods. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Maggards has a Tobacco Leather scent but it smells more like new car leather than tobacco, but a great scent nonetheless. One scent that hits almost each of your categories is L&L Grooming Cuir Et Espices, or Van Yulay Grand Lodge. Both have a masculine scent with some earthy notes.
Actually......my best, and "first thing that flashed into my mind" answer would be Clubman Special Reserve! You just absolutely discribed it....}8^)) Although, heavier on the leather than the Smoke.... Yup, the old hunting cabin in the middle of the woods, with a saddle a boots laying around, personified...
I would second these choices Clubman reserve has often been described as a scent that Indiana Jones would wear: leather, smoke, woodsy, masculinity. I would agree with that.
There isn't any smoky scent as you would like but you might enjoy this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
one reviewer of Maggard's Tobacco&Leather said "Too much leather!". Maybe he felt the same way about it as you do. Even so, I'd want to try it sometime.
Yeah I actually found that out a couple months ago when I first purchased the soap! Learn something new all the time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
My favorite tobacco scented soap. It has a matching aftershave. Or match this soap up with Clubman Special Reserve aftershave for the leather kick. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
Mystic Waters Adirondack Jack It's my favorite soap scent currently in my rotation and fits the description of what you are looking for. Check it out on the MW site. I'd also check out Stirling Baker street. The scent was originally made by Stroppe shop. But they went out of business and Stirling got with them to get this scent in their lineup.
Thank you all for the advice. I've been reading up on all your suggestions, wish I could get them all. I should add that I'm a big fan of WSP's Blackbeard but I'm looking for something less sweet.
