Yes - I know I've been AWOL for a while. I'm only following three threads; I am getting any notifications sent, however. It's been a stressful couple of months, and with everything going on, I've not even been able to shave very often. Bed late, and phone calls up to two hours before I open for business does that. Anyway. I thought I'd better post this before I forget it, even though I'm sitting in a customer's office. I was looking for a present for my father, and was told he needed some new safety blades for a leather cutting tool. My first thought was a skiver (skife), and I was searching for those blades. (turns out it's a strap cutter, different blades) Interestingly enough, it appears that leather working skivers are based on _Schick injectors_. An Osborne 925-D is a 20 blade injector for a skife. https://www.ebay.com/itm/C-S-Osborn...827394?hash=item1c64b76f02:g:tNwAAOxyd8NSarbJ So, C.S. Osborne is repackaging blades, quite possibly the 'Chicks'. (I did a search for this on the forum before I posted, of course) They're also sold as 'film splitters'. http://cadenceblades.com/parts/of-inc10sp I have no idea if they're good enough for shaving, but for those people looking for the dispenser, you can at least get those (albeit at an exorbitant cost). If you have a tandy leather nearby, you can pick up a tube of 10 blades for $10. *cough* Good luck, and hopefully I'll have been left alone during the Christmas holidays to be caught up with billing, invoicing, and getting all my razors sorted out for selling/gifting.
I wish there was a better shot of the C.S. Osborne blades. I'm thinking, though, that they are OEM Personna blades (same as the Ted Pella blades). The Cadence blades look interesting.
You can find the CS Osborne all over the place, so you can definitely find better pictures. That was just a quick 'put it up' link. http://www.diyupholsterysupply.com/925-100/925ss.html Close up of a box of 100.
