    De Vergulde Hand
    Supply SE , V2 Plate No 3
    Schick Proline [ 1 ]
    Pitralon Original A/S Lotion

First use of this recently acquired Razor, which is a V1 fitted with a V2 No 3 Plate. This will be my second one
as I found that my Original when fitted with a V2 worked very well for me, so got this second one at a good price with a view to passing it on to my youngest .

Had a very quick Shave with it this morning, using the excellent De Vergulde , recent showing reminded me how good it was. The Supply now Shaves really well for me smooth and efficient, particularly nice to use around the chin.

Am sure that this Razor would suit those wanting to try out an AC blade, but do not like the idea of the larger
heads on those using a 50mm blade.

    TOST LE Synthetic
    Gem Jr. 1905 Lather Catcher
    Original Gem Jr. SE Blade
    CWR
    Thayer's Lemon WH
    Aqua Velva Musk

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Old Spice Original Shaving Cream face-lathered well with the TOST LE Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Gem Jr. 1905 Lather Catcher Razor using an Original Gem Jr. SE Blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

As my last injector shave for PIF to honor the thread reaching 1,000 pages I used an E2 that I gave my son but he doesn't use it all that much. When I first found shaving forums I was looking for some input on shaving w/ a straight. Then I did a 30 Day Rule where I shaved with a Schick G1. From then on I have been on the path to SE nirvana. Today's shave reminded me why I use almost exclusively SE razors and give the others away. I bloomed my Williams w/ four drops of rose EO while I was in the shower. The Williams lathers very nicely with the EO. I did three passes that left me w/ a BBS finish. I thought I heard dolphins crying.

SOTD 02182018 G-8 I think.gif Schicks defy my for sure identifying. I think it's a G-8 like Fuzzy @wchnu showed. Tapering ribbed surfaces on all four sides of the handle, with mold marks on top and bottom? Unless the same handle is on other models.
It gives great service with a Chick blade.

    RazoRock Plissoft 22mm
    L`Occitane Cade soap
    Schick N3
    Japanese Schick Twin [ 19 ]
    Pitralon Polar A/S Lotion

After perhaps having a somewhat lazy Shave yesterday, today made up for it. The latter Schicks are regarded by many as mild, but I find that if you combine them with a Twin Blade they are really good. With the N3 initial short strokes quickly remove the worst of the stubble, thereafter it is a pleasure to shave with long
    sweeping strokes.

I really invested time in todays Shave, and have been rewarded with a Face Stroking all round finish. I highly
recommend those who own latter Schicks [ not the ones with a Rinsing Lever] , but have not used a Twin blade to buy a pack and you are in for a pleasant surprise. I shall continue to use this blade until it shows signs of deterioration.

The Wife and I have went away for my birthday. We are up in southern PA to do a little razor hunting. Today was the first shave on the road. I do not know exactly how many shaves I have on this blade but I am going to change it out tomorrow morning for a new blade. I did three pass shave with no irritation but just wasn't as close as I would have liked.
