The stubble snuck up on me again and I decided to put the three days of beard up against the Schick E1. Even with a blade on it’s fifth use, it came through with a superb shave. Closer and smoother than an E2, it’s a shave that’s hard to beat. :happy036:

Been away for a few days, and used my Schick "O" Clone, which provided me with great Holiday Shaves.

Back home now and Continuing to use the fantastic " Igor", the only SE/Gem Adjustable created by Tom White. Found that the Shaves which are so good , seem to takes its toll on blade life. I got 4 Shaves from one, and now on a fresh one.
Often a new blade is rough on the first outing, today as smooth as silk and cutting through whiskers like butter, another
    Face Stroker from Igor.

I'm glad you dig it....But upon further reflection.....I tried the Cremo once without Williams and didn't dig it....Now maybe the Williams can save it by making some lather....But I really dig Williams by itself!!!
So why bother saving the Cremo is the way I have kind of concluded.....

I really do dig Williams the way it is....and Arko Shave Sticks aswell....I don't think either one needs any help from The Cre-mo-ster...Lol!

But some cats dig Cremo the way it is, and I say Bully! And wish them many great shaves....
To quote a cat far wiser than I, "It's Your Shave, Enjoy It You Way"!

But for me....I ain't messing with perfection...and that covers Williams, Arko, and Barbasol too for that matter....Somethings are just right!

I do like to mix splashes of certain after shaves though....So I'm not totally against experimentation....}8^))

    "Igor" Alu. SE/Gem Adj.
    Gem S/S [ 2 ]
    Pitralon Original A/S Lotion

Decided to try a Cream with "Igor" to see if clogging up occurred. As I regularly rinse a Razor during a shave there were no problems. Am really getting a feel for this Razor, and having settled for a mid point setting am able to get very smooth and comfortable Shaves. I now feel qualified to say that the quality of finish is equal and possibly better than those I get with most other Razors, including SEs using AC blades.

ER Chrome Plated SE Razor - "Streamline, Ambassador & Jewel".

A favourite of many is the ER Chrome Plated SE Razor often referred to as the "Streamline". However, it has been established from packaging that the same Razor was given names according to the packaging it came in.
    1. ER chrome plated SE Razor/Stropper set- in a double Clamshell Box
    2. Streamline in Single Clamshell Box
3 Ambassador in flat lock box, in different colours

There has been much discussion about one marketed as the Jewel, with some saying it was a model made by Gem. Others me included saying there was an ER one that came in a metal box, but this was hotly disputed until now!

A lucky chap has managed to find an ER Chrome Plated SE Razor in a Metal Box with Original Packaging, and it is the "Jewel".
