    wchnu Duck Season!

Monday was the valet patent day. April 9, 1912. The shave was veddy nice. I used a Feather SS instead of working a GEM. I prefer a CS Gem.

    Blade: Schick
    Razor: Schick M1 adjustable injector
    Brush: Stirling Kong synthetic
Soap: Jeeves of Hudson Street Bay Rum
Post: Witch hazel, Jeeves of Hudson Street Tobacco Bay Leaf aftershave

Actually started with a vintage Personna chrome blade, but it felt pretty tuggy, so I swapped out for a Chick blade instead. Pretty good shave on setting 7. I really enjoy this razor. Have a great day!

    RazoRock Syn. 22mm
    Fitjar Slatteroy-sample
    Schick N1
    Schick Proline [ 6 ]
    Lea A/S Balm

Though the N1 was specifically designed for use with a Twin Blade, I am finding that it works well with the
Schick Proline AC Type blade. An excellent lather from the Fitjar helped me have a super easy Shave, even working AGT was easy, so I ended up with a Great All Round finish. Even dispensed with A/S and used the Lea
Balm which dries out quickly and leaves the face nice and dry.

Well it had to be done, I cranked Igor up to max, and what a shave!
If Igor was made of a heavier metal I think it would surpass anything out there and I include the Cobra in this.
The lightness means that a teeny bit of pressure needs to be applied in the tougher areas, if it was a modicum heavier it would sail through this stubble as it does everywhere else.
Fantastic shave from a fantastic razor.
    Happy Shaving one and all.

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Williams Mug Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #268 synthetic horse brush. I did two passes with the Schick E2 Injector Razor using a Schick Proline B20 blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Pinaud Clubman AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
