My first Shave with Schick Type O Clone
For my first Shave with this Razor chose to use a single blade rather than a Twin. By doing this I wanted to compare
it with The PAL Injecto-Matic one of my favourites which only takes a single blade.

I chose to use a Schick Proline Type B, which though an AC blade works perfectly in Injector Razors. I have quite a strong beard [ may be Grit 80 prior to a shave] and Shave Daily . With a good lather from a Fitjar Cream, the Shave was very smooth and though I would not describe it as aggressive , it is efficient with a nice degree of blade feel. The completed Shave was top notch, and I have no post Shave problems.

If like me you cannot find/afford an original ,it is well worth getting hold of one of these well made clones.

I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Williams Mug Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #220 synthetic brush. I used the NOTSO comb with the Bunny, V3 Adjustable razor by @twhite and Personna blade and found the correct angle right away. Two passes and I was baby bottom smooth. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Aqua Velva AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

It has been a while since I have used this razor, and it performed flawlessly. It was super smooth with no irritation at all.

    Head Shave Only:
    Pre-shave: hot shower
Shave cream + soap: Barbasol Sensitive Skin travel size can + Proraso Red

    http://theshaveden.com/forums/threads/the-adulterated-barbasol-thread.57857/
    Brush: Omega Boar 10049
    Razor: Schick E3
    Blade: Schick (2)
Post-shave: Assured WH (from Dollar Tree), Nivea Sensitive PS Balm, Proraso Sandalwood AS

This is Shave #22 for this travel size can of Barbasol. Today I combined it with the Proraso Red and the resulting lather was exceptional. While I've used Proraso many times, it often times dries out on me especially during my head shaves when I'm going slowly and carefully. However, today that didn't happen. The Barbasol cream has a Sandalwood scent, but the Proraso scent dominated. I managed a very close, comfortable shave and I wish the same or better for all of you.

    +4 Shave

    Pre-Shave: Hot Shower
    Brush: Omega Boar Brush 81064
    Soap: Irish Traveller, Mystic Waters
    Razor: Valet VC2, Autostrop
Blade: Feather FAS-10 Carbon Steel(CS), Feather Seikan (12)

Post-Shave: Cold Water rinse, OSMA Alum block and British Sterling After Shave

I went back to the Autostrop this morning. I now have 12 shaves on the CS blade. First outing with the Mystic Waters Irish Traveller soap. I got it as I thought and still do think it smells a lot like Irish Spring soap. I like the soap. Nothing to write home about other than the scent but I like it. Let me use it a couple more times and I will give a full write up on it. I did three passes this morning, not BBS like the General gets but a DFS all the same. Finished off with the British Sterling and now I am ready to meet the day head on.

I have the Clone and the Original - Only difference is the clone takes elbow grease to get the injector 'stem' into the razor. Shave wise exactly the SAME - in fact the clone looks to have a more solid build on the head and will probably last even longer than the original. anyone on the fence should get this from ebarbershop.com - I doubt this will be in stock for ever, doubt there is a giant market for the type O (other than the lunatics that post on this 921 page thread - HAHA :) )
