I just saw this on TV.... even the Pawn Stars are now in on it! (regrettably, he equates a TTO with a Tech, but only one of us would notice that)
Ya it's the all the talk right now. I don't think he equates the TTO with the Tech as much as he's just showing some different razors. The increased mainstream publicity is probably a sign of a growing market..no chance of the dreaded pocalypse here folks...
I've watched the show a couple of times. I'm always amazed people will bring in something and expect to get a huge amount of money for it from a pawn shop.
Apparently, some of the more valuable stuff is a put up by the producers. A little google-fu will find further info for you if you're interested.
I don't know, but no doubt something of similar manufacture and quality. The associated web site offers the razor, case, and 24 blades (no mention of brand) for $19.99.
The Gillette Milords were TTO razors...and Techs as well. Just because we identify 99% of techs as three piece razors, doesn't mean there can't be a TTO variety. Edit: Never mind, I misread the comment.
