Is there a trick to using Williams?

I used it day before yesterday.. tomorrow is Colgate I picked p the other day at a old drug store.

1. Put around a tablespoon of water on it.
2. Fill up your sink and heat up your mug.
3. Do not pour out the water, tilt your mug and lather with a squeezed out brush
4. When the bubbles get good, transfer to mug or lather on face.

Your brush should soak up all the water, even my VDH boar does, so I imagine your badger will go to town.

 

I cannot make the Williams soap to work for shaving. I tried so many times, and the results were the same. I used for showering.

 

I'll have to revisit my Williams as a solo product. I've typically just used it in a superlather with the aforementioned, much loved KMF. I have to say, that's a fine combo!
