Is there a way to change the default font setting for reading other people's posts? The standard font size on the forum is very small and causes problems for people with vision issues. Chrome has a setting to make fonts bigger, but it can be overridden by the website's software, and this forum does not allow chrome to change the default font setting. @Queen of Blades or @sparky5693 ? Edit: well that setting works for me, anyways. Weird. But it doesn't change the login/signup size or some of the other text on the screen.
I'm not getting any problems with my PC. Chrome will change font size on here, just checked. Maybe it's a phone issue if that's what's being used, an update possibly could have caused it.
OK, I'll add this. Most of you know I prefer to use the Trebuchet MS font (bold/italicized) for my posts. I would LOVE to have that font be my default. Possible?
Okay, so smartphones? I don't really know how to enlarge the font then. My eyesight is bad enough I can not stand to use my smartphone to read content on the internet. If I have to read, I use the pinch maneuver to zoom in. I would imagine Chrome can't resize some aspects of the website. Don't think so.
I have an apple desk top. I just go to upper bar and pull down the "View" tab. About have way down you can click on "zoom in" or "zoom out" - makes for easy reading.
Also checked my tablet, Samsung Tab Pro 8.4, and not having any problems with the fonts. Chrome is letting me change font sizes. Go into settings in Chrome, go to Accessibility and move the slider for text scaling up past 100% if needed. That changes the font size if needed.
There is also a setting to over ride a site's request to prevent zooming in. Same place - accessibility. other than that the only thing that must've stopped you from doing it, if it did before, was the update. And hopefully you didn't catch some kind of malware or virus, just a guess.
Joseph, that's such a hoity-toity font. I envision you lounging in an overstuffed Italian leather armchair, dictating your posts to the butler.
Assuming Chrome browser on Android: have you dumped the cache, closed chrome? (I assume yes) Uninstall and reinstall a clean copy of chrome? And apologies, I didn't see you online and walked away.
