Is this a Fatboy?

    My mother-in-law found this razor in a vintage suitcase she bought. She knows my addiction love of shaving goods and passed this to me. It's in rough shape cosmetically. It might clean up okay though.

    Fatboy or no?

    It might, the pic is a bit dim. It looks like it could be soap build up. Mebbie a trip through scrubbing bubbles will help.

    Last quarter 1960. I agree that a soak in scrubbing bubbles would probably clean it up nicely.

    YES That absolutely is a FatBoy and with the case no less. FANTASTIC score, you own your mom-in-law a big one. It will clean up beautifully with a good overnight soaking starting with HOT water(gently work the adjuster knob and TTO door knob), some dawn, bartenders friend, an old soft toothbrush and possibly a bit of Flitz or Mother Mag Polish. You will enjoy the shave it gives. :happy088:
    Opps almost forgot the scrubbing bubbles...

    Do what PLANofMAN says in regards to cleaning case.

    Use dish soap on the case, not scrubbing bubbles. Use scrubbing bubbles or kaboom! on the razor.

    I plan to clean it up but haven't had time the past few days. Hopefully I'll get to it this weekend. I'll report on the progress!
