Okay guys & gals, here's the deal. A week from tomorrow my wife is going to Italy for her cousin's wedding. She's gonna be there for two weeks, some time in Rome, but mostly in Anzio. My question for those of you who live and/or visited recently: are there any soaps other than the usual suspects that are available only in Italy? I have to stay here to keep an eye on my MiL & FiL(87 & 95 respectively). So Herself is feeling a little guilty and wants to bring me back something. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
Cool! Hope she has a great trip. Have her stop in a few antique shops. Maybe she can find you some razors.
It took me a while to remember the name of the place I visited in Rome when I was working up in Aviano. Check out www.bertozzinidal1913.it/. It is close-ish to the Vatican and Castle San Angelo. We actually parked close by and walked to Vatican City They have a Facebook page too Pharmacies and perfumeries usually sell soaps and colognes. This one sells razors, bowls, brushes, etc. They might carry an Italy only soap or hard to get Italian soap Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If you some some interesting stuff make a list...maybe pre-order...she can walk in pick it up and then spend more time doing touristy stuff Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Forget the soap and razors, tell her to bring back some good food. I am from ny now in Tenn. Really miss Mama's home cooked Italian meals. Sent from my QTAQZ3 using Tapatalk
At the point where I keep it really short 'cause there ain't a lot there. I don't know what happened. My Dad had a full head of hair 'til he passed in '14. Hair products are not a priority.
So, Herself, with the help of her cousin found me this soap: Any of you guys or gals know it?Looks interesting.
I don't think I've tried a soap with olive oil in. I do enjoy most every tallow, lanolin, and even glycerine based products. Who knew soap could be this much fun!
