The Rules​

1. Newbies must have registered within the month of the contest.
(example; register@TSD in July, sign-up for contest in July)
only exception - Newbies who register on the last day of the month, will be allowed to enter either that month's contest or the next. Not both though.
(I'm sorry if you missed out on your drawing month, but this is the only way I can keep track of who has and has not entered a drawing already. Please don't ask to be included if you don't meet the 3 rules.)​

2. Newbies must post their interest in this thread.
(Your name will go on the list when you express your interest, but that does NOT mean you are in the drawing. You still must meet the post requirement, see rule #3.)​

3. Newbies must make 15 posts within the month they are eligible for this give-away.​

4. It will be the contest entrants responsibility to check back in this thread to see if you won, no PM will be sent to the winner.​

5. Any prizes not claimed within 30 days will be forfeited.​

Hello everybody,

I have considered entering the practice of wet shaving for awhile now, and finally took the plunge. I love researching new topics especially when I want to get involved in something, and found this forum and its members to be a valuable source of information. I am awaiting the delivery of a gillette SS, and some other kit. Hope to be shaving by the weekend. Happy New Year to everyone.

Hi newbie here and have acquired my first straight from Ebay. I will know more in four days, but the AD said 5/8 Fromm shave ready. It was a whim type of and I didn't expect to for 36.00 but it may be a good start.

I got me a de-razor 2-3 months ago, and now I think i'm going to buy a brush and a soap to! A really fun way to shave! First time in my life i'm looking forward to sjave!

I would love to try any of these! I took a chance getting into DE wet shaving, and I bought a cheap razor for less of a risk, needless to say, I feel in love! Thank y'all for your forum, it's a Savior!

 

Day 1, contest entry.
A friend hooked me with the wet shaving addiction by buying me a basic kit... since then I've tried to recruit others but none have been bitten by the bug like me. Have since upgraded to an ejde89l, (waiting on a second barley handle version) and Parker badger brush. Pls. On getting birth year gillette ss, muhle r89, boar brush and misc soaps.
